Biography

Having earned a doctorate in philosophy and a Habilitation ( à diriger des recherches), Corine Pelluchon is currently Full Professor in practical philosophy at the University of Franche-Comté, Besançon. A specialist in the works of Léo Strauss and moral and political philosophy, she has devoted much of her research and teaching to issues of applied ethics (medical and biomedical ethics, animal ethics, and environmental ethics).
