Biography
Eben Freeman has been bartending for over two decades. During this time he has worked in blender bars, beer bars, hotel bars, clubs, dives and fine dining establishments. Widely credited with leading the Molecular Mixology movement in the United States, Freeman also possesses a thorough understanding of the classics, as seen in his Emmy-nominated series of bartending tutorials on Epicurious.com. After spending a year in Asia consulting and traveling, Eben is back home in New York working with Michelin-starred Chef Michael White as the Director of Bar Operations & Innovation for his AltaMarea group of restaurants.
Freeman’s work has been featured in the press and on television on six continents. Eben lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
