BIOGRAPHY

Harald Weltzer, a psychosociologist, is director of research in social psychology at the Witten/Herdecke University and directs the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Memory in Essen. He is interested in the causes of the emergence of violence and the perception of societal changes by those who live them.
