Nadia Urbinati (Italy/USA), is a political scientist who specializes in modern and contemporary political thought along with democratic and anti-democratic traditions. She co-runs the Columbia University Faculty Seminar on Political and Social Thought and founded the Workshop on Politics, Religion and Human Rights. She has co-edited Constellations: An International Journal of Critical and Democratic Theory.
