Tiphaine Samoyault lives in Paris, where she teaches comparative literature at the University of Paris 3 - Sorbonne Nouvelle. The author of several works of non-fiction and essays, she is also co-manager of La Nouvelle Quinzaine Littéraire. She recently published a biography of Roland Barthes (Seuil) based on her personal archives.
