Emmanuel Roux (France), geographer, lecturer et researcher at the University Grenoble Alpes. He specializes in issues of territorial development. He recently worked on questions of the future of rural, exurban et urban areas, as well as on the meaning and stakes of territorial observation. He notably contributed to works on the planning of territories (Territoire 2040, Datar) regarding "low-density areas" (under the direction of Laurence Barthes) as well as exurban spaces (with Martin Vanier, 2008). He contributes to, or regularly moderates reflections and exchanges on the future of rural and exurban areas (Forum Vie Mobile Paris, Nantes 2030, Réseau rural PACA, Pays Autunois, SCoT Monts du Lyonnais...). Lecturer and researcher at the University Grenoble Alpes, he offers with Magali Talandier courses on the "new ruralities".
