Jeffrey Rosen, is a professor of law at The George Washington University, and legal affairs editor at The New Republic. In The Naked Crowd: Reclaiming Security and Freedom in an Anxious Age (Random House, 2004), he challenges the increasing emphasis on security that goes hand in hand with alarming violations of fundamental rights.
