A philosopher, Ruwen Ogien has a PhD. in social anthropology. He is director of studies at the CNRS in moral philosophy. In his works, he develops a "minimal ethic", antipaternalist, based on a principle of neutrality toward the idea of fair and good that everyone has. Thus, fighting the idea of a " moral police ".
In his last book, Philosopher ou faire l'amour, he deconstructs the preconceived ideas we have on love. According to him, love should neither be on the top of our scale of values nor dictates our decisions.
