Pierre Mercklé (France), sociologist, has an Agrégation in social and economic sciences, and is a lecturer in sociology at the ENS Lyon. He is a member of the research group DPCS (Dispositions, Powers, Cultures, Socializations), headed by Bernard Lahire within the Max Weber Center. His research currently focuses on the cultural practices of children and on quantitative methods for surveys in social sciences.
