Societies are generally organized according to the natural resources we have and the use we make of them, but today’s ecological crisis and the rarefaction of resources is disrupting this order. These new constraints may in fact provide an extraordinary opportunity to transform our economic system and working relationships. Wouldn’t an ecological conversion be a positive, top-down way to solve both the social and the ecological crises?
