Vincent Kaufmann (Switzerland) teaches urban and mobility analysis sociology at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale of Lausanne (EPFL). There, he leads the research center on urban sociology (LaSUR). His current research focuses on mobility and its relations to the transformation of contemporary societies and their territories. He is also director of science for the Forum Vies Mobiles.
