Cartography is based on our desire to show human space at differing scales, but isn’t there more to our geographical imagination than its cartographic expression? Do maps really represent the places of our lives? Using words, maps and other works, geographer Gunnar Olsson and philosopher Gilles Tiberghien try to define the relationships that bind people to places, but leave room for opacity and invisibility, for things that resist the need to see.
