Cécile Daumas has been a journalist for Libération since 1994. Graduated from the Centre de formation des Journalistes, she directed the "Emploi" section of Libération from 2002 to 2005. She specializes in gender studies and published in 2007 Qui a peur du deuxième sexe ? (Hachette Litératures). She is editor-in-chief of the "Idées" section of Libération Next, the monthly magazine of Libération. She is also the president of the Laboratoire de l'égalité.
