Jean-Louis Bruguière is a former investigating judge specialized in combating terrorism. He has worked on a number of organized crime investigations and until 2007 headed the antiterrorist section in France. He has also been an expert adviser to the Council of Europe, the Commission of the European Union, and the United Nations (UNODC).
