BIOGRAPHy

Fabienne Brugère, philosopher and translator of Joan Tronto, is a professor at the University of Bordeaux III. Her research has led her to combine the approaches of moral philosophy, American feminist gender studies, and contemporary issues to rethink solicitude with an eye toward social justice, as she did in Le Sexe de la sollicitude (Seuil, 2008).
