BIOGRAPHY

Nnimmo Bassey, winner of the Right Livelihood Award 2010 (known as the “alternative Nobel Prize"), he co-founded the NGO Environmental Rights Action (member of the federation of Friends of the Earth International and the Oilwatch International network), which provides training and legal aid to help African, South American and Southeast Asian countries resist the destructive activities of oil and gas extraction.
