A screenwriter and novelist, she writes with the same voice for adults and younger readers. In her novels, the family is a small theater for questioning viewpoints on the normal, resistance, and the weird. In Le Garçon incassable, she tactfully tells the life stories of Henri, a “different” brother, and Buster Keaton, who both paradoxically seem to draw their strength from their great fragility.
