Alfred de Musset wrote: “For me, all reality is mere fiction.” Fiction comprised of realities and stories. What boundaries lie between the real and the fictional ? For every author at this round table, connecting to a historical moment consists in dissecting reality, scratching the surface of History with a capital “H” to get close to individual stories, to the minute details of experience. How do authors corral the power for fiction that reality contains ?
