Andrés Neuman, a writer, editorialist, and essayist, has published numerous novels. After Le Voyageur du siècle (Fayard, 2011), which received numerous awards, he published Parler seul, a novel in three voices in which a chronically ill man takes his son on a road trip while the boy’s mother stays at home. Giving the reader a tactful peak into each character’s head, the author builds a tale of learning, discovering the world, and self-grieving, revealing what brings us together beyond what words can express. This book has been voted the 2014's best novel by the magazine Typographical Era.
