Felipe Hernández was born in Barcelona in 1960. At twenty he quit studying linguistics and became a teacher. After publishing a few texts that received attention, he finished two novels : La Dette (published in 1998) and La Partition (1999). He traveled in the United States and published Éden when he returned in 2000. He currently lives in Majorca, splitting his time between music and writing.
