What should you do when reality catches up with your revolutionary dreams? How can you convey the revolution’s aftermath when the dream gives way to disillusion and business as usual? Three authors write about the difficult path from revolutionary illusions to disenchantment with democracy. What is left of revolutionary slogans and utopia? Between objectivity and subjectivity, how do writers see a revolution’s story? Can literature transcend the daily banality of post-revolutionary times?
