BiographY
Tristan Garcia is a French writer and philosopher born in 1981 in Toulouse. A graduate of École normale supérieure, he has a doctorate in philosophy. His first novel, La meilleure part des hommes, published by Gallimard, was unanimously awarded the 2008 Flore Prize in the first round. Having taught philosophy at the University of Picardie Jules Verne, he is interested in the animal question and recently published a treatise on metaphysics.
