Three authors plunge us into the inner self of their characters, baring their consciousness: their doubts, worries, and hopes then appear as filters through which they perceive the world, as scattered slivers which can help rebuild reality, distorted and truncated though it may be. This creates a polyphony which allows us to grasp humanity in all its complexity.
